  1. Photoshop Tutorial
Line Art (my definition)- manipulating lines to form an image. In my case, I use the line tool in Photoshop to create my images. Oh, and before I forget, this tutorial only truly works with Photoshop CS2, but you can still read for enjoyment. First of all, I generally use the line tool to compliment sleek, smooth, or vectorish images. I haven't tried using it with grunge, and I don't plan to (although you can try if you desire to). Woah, hold steady, I still have to show you how to work with the line tool.

Adobe Photoshop is hands down, the most popular program for creating and modifying images for the web.  This is true not only because Photoshop is available on a wide array of platforms ranging from Mac to Windows to UNIX, but because after four generations of development, Adobe Photoshop has the most intuitive user interface, the most complete set of tools, and the largest number of reference books around.

  4. Photoshop Crash Course
Adobe Photoshop is the Ginsu knife of graphics programs - it does everything from creating Web graphics to tweaking photos to putting the head of your favorite actor on the body of a porn star. (But unlike the Ginsu knife, everybody actually uses Photoshop.)  We recruited two former Webmonkeys, Jim and Luke (who are now in prison), to give us the goods on how Photoshop can lead you down the road to happiness and profit. Jim steers you through the Photoshop fundamentals, starting with cropping, changing mode, resizing, and file formats. He also zeroes in on the all-important selection tools and filters.

  6. What is Photoshop
In fact, as Deke McClelland says in Photoshop 3 Bible, "Some estimates say that Photoshop sales exceed those of all of its competitors combined.

  7. Al Mackey Photoshop Tutorial
I received a number of letters asking me how I do some of the coloring and effects I do on my digitally-colored pictures, so I thought I'd make a tutorial that covered some of the techniques I use to make my images in Adobe Photoshop. Years later, that simple idea had snowballed into this rather detailed tutorial. It's aimed at people who are artistically inclined but may not know much about digital paint programs, and covers digital inking, coloring, shading, and some basic effects used to produce cartoon-like imagery. This tutorial focuses on not only methods and techniques, but also tries to shed light on a deeper understanding of how Photoshop works. This tutorial aims to teach you both the basics and some advanced concepts.

  8. Adobe Photoshop Basic
This is the main page for the Adobe Photoshop Basics Online Course. Scroll down to find an outline of every lesson and every page in the course. The lessons are intended to be worked through in the order presented, and at your own pace. The lessons have been written for Photoshop versions 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 including educational and academically-priced versions. When information in a lesson does not apply to all of these versions, notes and/or separate pages will be provided for each version where applicable. Users of Photoshop 7 and 8 (CS) can follow the navigation labeled for version 6, although new features in these versions will not be covered. Users of Photoshop 7 and 8 may encounter minor differences in the locations of some commands, but most of these are noted in the discussion forum threads that go along with each lesson. Portions of this course will not be applicable to Photoshop Elements, or the discontinued Photoshop LE (limited edition) that ships with some hardware products.

  9. Photoshop Tutorials-Absolute Cross
Adobe Photoshop is considered by many web developers and graphic designers (myself included) to be essentially the be-all-end-all tool when it comes to creating and editing 2D graphics and photos. If you're new to Photoshop, don't be fooled by its name - it's capable of far more than simply editing or repairing photographs. With practice and a bit of imagination, there's no limit to the imagery you can create with Photoshop.I've been using and teaching others how to use Photoshop (not to mention learning quite a few new tricks along the way myself) for many years. The skills you'll learn by working through these tutorials will help give you a firm grasp of what makes Photoshop tick. Hopefully by the time you're through, you'll know your way around Photoshop and will be ready to take on more challenging projects.

  10. Photoshopresources Tutorial
So as you should know if you've been working in Photoshop for awhile, is that when you increase the size of anything in Photoshop, you  decrease the quality. In this lesson I'd like to show you how to go around that in Photoshop CS2. I'm starting out with a photo I've manipulated and also a graphic I created in Photoshop. So as you should know if you've been working in Photoshop for awhile, is that when you increase the size of anything in Photoshop, you decrease the quality. In this lesson I'd like to show you how to go around that in Photoshop CS2.

  11. Learning Photoshop 4.0
There are two fundamental types of computer graphics: vector graphics and bitmap graphics. Vector graphics refers to graphic images where the graphic objects are stored as objects (for example: lines and circles). Examples of programs using vector graphics are CAD systems (eg: AutoCAD) and Illustration programs (eg: Corel Draw). Bitmap graphics refers to images where the colour value of each spot (pixel) of the image is stored. Programs producing bitmap graphics include Paint programs (eg: Paintbrush) and image-editing software (eg: Photoshop and Corel Paint). Photoshop and some other "high-end" image manipulation software use techniques pioneered by CAD systems (for example Layering) to blur the difference between vector and bitmap graphics.

  12. Photoshop 3.0 Tutorial
Photoshop 3.0 has changed the organization of the tool palettes. A number of palettes are now included in a single window, making it easier to access tools and controls when you need them. For example, the Brushes palette also serves as the Tool parameter palette
New commands include Dodge, Burn and Sponge. Dodge and Burn operate as they do in a regular darkroom, but Sponge adds a nice touch in that it will let you change the color saturation of a specific area. Photoshop has also added some new Filters. Some of these filters are demo filters such as Drop Shadow and cMultiDemo. There is also a new section of filters called Render which allow for some powerful effects on an image.
