Description of the code:
Here, you will get to know about the indexOf(String
str, int fromIndex) method through the following java program. In the program code given below, we have taken a String. To find the index of any
string we have applied indexOf(String str, int
fromIndex); method and then we have passed the Substring from the specified
string with the index number in that to find its
index starting from the specified index number as shown in the output. And if we take index number
to be 23 then we get -1 as a result that shows the given index number doesn't
exist in a string.
NOTE: This method returns the index of the first occurrence of the given substring, starting at the specified index within the string.
