Random numbers are the numbers that are determined entirely by chance. User does not have any control over the working of random numbers.

random() is a method of Math class which extends java.lang package. The Math class contains methods for performing basic numeric operations. random() returns a double value with always a positive sign, it is always greater or equal to 0.0 and less than 1.0. The random number are generated automatically.
