SuSe Linux 9.2 is Linux that boots from CD ROM. You don't have to install it on your system to use it. Simply insert the CD and reboot your system to boot from CD ROM! No matter which operating system you use, the comprehensive SuSE Linux system will boot from the CD. On request, configuration data for the SuSE system can be stored. However, there is no need to worry: your current system will not be modified.
SuSe Linux 9.2 Live Linux has excellent hardware detection capabilities. Furthermore, SuSe Linux "Live Eval" allows you to set up and test the Internet access and e-mail.
This Live CD comes with the KDE & GNOME desktop
environment and supports English and German languages. The complete SuSE 9.2 System with selected applications is started from CD or DVD and can be evaluated freely. Personal
settings can be saved on hard disk. If its needed, the system can create a swat
file on your hard disk

How to use:
- Insert the CD/DVD in your CD or DVD drive and reboot
the machine. In contrast to a system installed on the hard disk, the live CD
consumes a lot of memory. Therefore, at least 384 MB RAM are needed for the
smooth operation of the live CD.
- SUSE LINUX 9.2 will boot directly from the live CD
without modifying your hard disk. You can type "F4" function at
the boot prompt to change the language, the current setting is displayed
next to the "F4" at the bottom line (default is English).
- The default user is called "linux" and has
no password.
- Test your new SUSE LINUX and take a look at the office, e-mail, Internet, photograph management, and other applications. Use a device such as a memory stick for saving files.
