Interest-based advertising:

The advertising ID tracking will used by the Microsoft for Interest-based advertising and the data collected will be used for targeting marketing. Although Microsoft is not capturing any personal information for this purpose.

You can opt-out the Interest-based advertising by going to the Settings --> Privacy --> and then switch off the "advertising ID" tracking.

Location Tracking

The location tracking allows the system to enable the applications to get the information about the user location. This is more important in the mobile devices and allows the user accepted application to get the location data of the device.

You can also enable and disable this feature from the  Settings --> Privacy screen. You can also enable this feature for a particular application.
