make: gcc: Command not found ubuntu

Hi,

I am getting following error while installing a program in Ubuntu.

Building native extensions. This could take a while...
ERROR:  Error installing zombie_writer:
    ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

How to resolve this compilation issue?
