What is SAS?
SAS stands for Statistical Analysis System which is mostly used for advanced analytics, business intelligence and predictive analytics. It is also used for the management of data and its leader in commercial analytics.
The SAS software system was developed at North Carolina State University from 1966 until 1976 as SAS Institute. This software was further developed in 1980s and 1990s and new feature was added which increased it capability in business intelligence. SAS software comes with good GUI which can be used by people for learning and using this software quickly.
