The management use the following rules to compute the commissions for each sales person. For high end furniture(those original price is at or over 5000), the sales person will get 60% of the value above half price. For example, if a luxury bed is priced at 6000, and was sold at 30% discount, the sales person will get 60%(6000(1-30%) - 6000 50%) = 720. For low end furniture(those original price is below 5000), the sales person will get 50% of the value above half price. For example, if a dining set is priced at 3000, and was sold at 30% discount, the sales person will get 50%(3000(1-30%) - 3000 50%) = 300.
