Adobe Flex is a highly productive, free, open source Software Development Kit (SDK) used for developing intuitive cross platform Rich Internet Applications (RIA) based on Adobe Flash platform that makes entertaining for people to view and interpret data.
Adobe Flex is a highly productive, free, open source Software Development Kit (SDK) used for developing intuitive cross platform Rich Internet Applications (RIA) based on Adobe Flash platform that makes entertaining for people to view and interpret data. Adobe Flex is the product of Adobe Systems that runs on Adobe Flash player and Adobe AIR runtimes. Adobe Flex SDK is released to develop feature rich interactive web applications compatible to run on cross platforms. Flex applications can be build on Flex framework that comes with a set of user interface components covering basic tools like buttons, list boxes, trees, data grids, several text controls, layout containers to advance tools like web services, modal dialogs, animation effects, application states etc. Adobe Flash Builder or formerly known Adobe Flex builder is used to accelerate development through features like intelligent coding, interactive step-through debugging, and visual design of the user interface layout. Adobe Systems released Flex 3 SDK under the open source Mozilla Public License that is free to use for the developers. Flex can be developed and standard IDE such as Eclipse under free version while its commercial version is also available that is known as Adobe Flash Builder. Adobe Flex 4
