What is KNOPPIX?
KNOPPIX is a bootable Linux CD with a collection of
various GNU/Linux software. It auto-detects hardware and supports many graphics
cards, sound cards, USB and SCSI drives.
KNOPPIX can be used as a Linux demo, educational CD, rescue system, or adapted and used as a platform for commercial software product demos. It is not necessary to install anything on a hard disk. Due to on-the-fly decompression, the CD can have up to 2 GB of executable software installed on it.

System Requirements
- Intel-compatible CPU
- 20 MB of ram for text mode, and at least 82
MB for graphic mode with KDE.
- Bootable CD-ROM Drive

- PS/2 mouse

KNOPPIX, which is distributed under GNU
public license. You have to pay only for the CD and S&H
(Shipping and Handling) charges.
