Nizamuddin Dargah of Delhi

The mausoleum of Nizamuddin Auliya, who was one of the most famous Sufi saints, is known as the Nizamuddin Dargah. Located in the Nizamuddin West region of Delhi, the Dargah attracts a huge number of Muslim visitors all through the week. However, the place is equally visited by people of Hindu, Christianity and of other religions. Located exactly opposite to the Humayun's Tomb, the Nizamuddin Dargah is one of the most sacred places of India.

Along with the mausoleum of Nizamuddin Auliya, the Nizamuddin Dargah premises also have the tombs of Amir Khusro and Jehan Ara Begum. The tomb of Inayat Khan is just around the corner of the complex. The complex is located in an area named after Nizamuddin Auliya. The western side has a market complex while its eastern side has a residential area. There are a few more places and monuments of historical importance around the dargah.
