installing jdk 10 on windows 10

JDK 10 is released with many new features and there is introduction to var for declaring variables whose type is determined by the value assigned to it.

This new feature of Java 10 is know as Local-Variable Type Inference (var).

For example you can write following code in Java 10:

var x = new HashMap<String,Integer>();

Here variable x is inferred to be HashMap<String,Integer>.

You can download JDK 10 and install it on Windows 10 and then try the Local-Variable Type Inference (var) example.
