You have given a very good tutorial no doubt in that, but you are using message resources here so for a fresher who haven't used message resources it could become very difficult to figure out the problem at the time of running the application.
So its my humble request that please mention it earlier.

Posted by Pranjal Mishra on Wednesday, 12.16.09 @ 09:16am | #93407

Hi there is a problem, may the author has missed it. The taglib uri you have mentioned here won't work unless and until you don't specify in the deployment descriptor and since we are using JSP2.0, we don't need to do it.
So when the container will try to locate the uri mentioned as /tags/struts-html it won't be able to find in any of the tld files. So instead of going and make changes in the tld, its good to change it here.
<%@ taglib uri="http://struts.apache.org/tags-bean" prefix="bean"%>
<%@ taglib uri="http://struts.apache.org/tags-html" prefix="html"%>

I'll appreciate if you make the changes.
Thanks

The struts tutorials on this site helped me a lot to understand the Struts Framework. As of my understanding the deployment discriptor has only servlet acting as a controller in Struts.

But can we change the controller? or can we have multiple servlets acting as indepedent controller in struts for the desired purpose?
