| After more than four months of development, as GoblinX 2.6 was released at February 18, we are pleased to announce the availability of the new stable edition... It includes five Windows Managers: KDE, Fluxbox, Xfce, Enlightenment and WindowMaker. Main upgrades since rc01 edition: Corrected some small errors and bugs. Upgraded some packages and libraries, including some security fixes. Added extra folders to be used as package repository. Added media package repository to Slapt-getrc. Added interface to build module with Slapt-get help. Added GUI for deactivate script to let anyone remove modules of the livecd. Added directly autologin to Xorg as user for the installed system. GoblinX 2.7 "Micro" has been released View |
| The GoblinX Micro Edition is the smallest version of our distribution and contains only Fluxbox as windows manager and GTK/GTK2 based applications. The edition is indicated for those users whose like to do fast tests, know more about Fluxbox and rebuild the livecd.

The Micro is created mostly to help us to develop better and small applications that can be used for all small windows managers such as Fluxbox, and also prepare the livecd without all less necessary files we can find. We also intend to use it to test Web2 and/or Ajax applications. |

| The GoblinX Standard 2.0 (2007.1) is released. The GoblinX Standard edition formerly known simply as GoblinX, is our primary and oldest live CD. This release follows the Premium 2007.1 edition and starts the second generation of the distribution. All new features and upgrades prepared for the Premium edition are included, including a new functional Magic Center which works with Xfce and all graphical user interfaces. In comparison with Premium released in the end of last month, this edition adds 'probesata' cheatcode and SATA modules support to initrd and also corrects a small error in the GoblinX installer.
